Bryan Cutler (100) Education: Military College of South Carolina--The Citadel 1999 BS Education Brief Summary: A lifelong resident of Lancaster County, Ryan Aument graduated from Solanco HS in 1995. Aument was then accepted to The Citadel, one of the country's most prestigious military colleges. Upon graduation, Ryan Aument was commissioned into the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant & was deployed to the front lines in Iraq. Aument took command of his unit when his commanding officer was wounded in battle earning him a Bronze Star and the rank of Captain. In 2005, Ryan Aument became Campaign Manager for Bryan Cutler, running for State Representative in the 100th House District. After Cutler won, Ryan Aument became his Chief-of-Staff. In 2007 Ryan Aument was elected Lancaster County's 56th Clerk of Courts. Interesting fact: Shortly after returning from Iraq, Quarryville resident Aument was elected to Quarryville Boro council.
